Oct.20th, 7-10pm, honoring our BOE Art Curator
For our final and parting art show, we present Sonomi Kobayashi, who was not only our 2010 Chardonnay Label Artist, but who has served as BOE’s Art Curator. Sonomi has done fantastic work in making connections between BOE and artists in the Brooklyn art landscape. She has also been responsible for organizing and scheduling our label artists’ shows in the BOE Tasting Room. Many thanks to Sonomi for making the space beautiful!
About Sonomi and “Seen and Unseen”, on view October 13 to November 23
“Seen and Unseen” features the lithograph and etching prints that Sonomi has produced over the past three years. At once both organic and geometrical, Sonomi’s hand with color and light is luminescent. In her printmaking work, she mixes traditional and contemporary techniques of stone and aluminum lithography with mostly touché and toner, and copper plate with etching, aquatint, sugar lift, and Chine-collé.
