Production Series
These classes are for people with a serious interest in wine. They will focus on the vinification process, along with winemaking options and the results from the different techniques.

World of Wine: Wine and Chocolate PairingChocolate and wine pairings are more versatile than one might think. In this class, we’ll explore how the various flavors play together in unexpected ways. |

Production Seminar: White WinesLearn about the overall production process, from the work in the vineyard to the crush to fermentation to maturation. We’ll review strategies a winemaker can use to craft the style of wine she wants as well as discuss key grape varietals. |

Production Seminar: Red WinesIn addition to the full production process, we’ll discuss aging techniques, such as oak usage and vessels, as well as the use of varietals, from single-varietal to blends. The complexities in creating quality red wines are endless! |

Production Seminar: Rose and Orange WinesNope, these wines are not made from oranges (or roses, for that matter). Learn about these “sisters in between” whites and reds, how they’re produced and their similarities/differences from classic white and reds. |

Production Seminar: Sparkling WinesIn the final seminar, we’ll take a close look at sparkling wines. Bubbly has a fascinating history and sets the stage for the festive drink we sip today. We’ll review different techniques for creating sparkling wines, the best grapes for the job and debunk common myths. |
